Aurora Community Gardens Volunteer Day - This Sunday 4/18

Posted on Apr 13 2021 - 3:52pm

All Pack families are encouraged to come help revive this community garden that was originally established in 1974, but was abandoned in more recent years.  Aurora Community Gardens is located at 619 South Street, East Aurora, but if you plan to drive to the event please park at the Majors Park lot off Olean.  Enter at the southeast corner gate to the right at the end of the parking lot.

Please stop by any time between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. to help prep the land for spring planting.  Any amount of time and effort you can give is appreciated. Sign-up on Pack website encouraged, but NOT required.

We will be completing several projects including trash collection, removing old fencing, building new fencing, organizing materials and building a brush fence.

Please bring work gloves, boots and work clothing. We are providing water and snacks, masks at your own discretion (lot is 4-acres).  *Please note there are no bathrooms on site.

We greatly appreciate all the community support in restoring this land for all to enjoy!
