We have another pack service project planned for May.  On Sunday, May 17th @11:00am, we will be giving back to the Boys & Girls Club by helping to spread mulch in the flower beds around the building on Paine St.  Scouts should wear old clothes they don't mind getting dirty (not your scout uniforms), plus garden gloves if you have them.  The mulch will be in bulk in a trailer (not bags), so please also bring a bucket.  Shovels or mulch rakes would also be helpful if you have one to bring.

The pack is participating in the Annual Memorial Day Procession and Ceremony on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th.  Please join us in honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. The Pack will meet in the Hamlin Park parking lot on S. Grove street, near the pickle ball courts at 10:15am.  The Procession will start at 10:30 am and end at the Oakwood Cemetery, where a ceremony will take place at 11am.

Please sign up on the calendar by the end of the day 4/27 so that we can gauge interest and reserve our spot as soon as possible. Details are on the calendar event. 

Our May pack event will be an overnight on the USS Little Rock at the Buffalo Naval Park.  The cost is $79 per person which includes admission to the park, dinner, breakfast and programing.  An adult must attend with each scout.  Please sign-up on the calendar by 4/27 so that the pack can reserve our spot on the ship.

One of the biggest Cub Scout events of the year, our annual Pinewood Derby, will be raced on Sunday, April 19th at the Boys & Girls Club.  Car weigh-in and track setup is from 2:00-3:00pm. Please make sure your car does not weigh more than stated in the attached rules. Cars will be weighed and checked-in for the race at the check-in time. Arrival for the race will be at 5:00pm. Pizza will be served at 5:00. The race will start promptly at 5:30pm.  The pack rules for the cars and race are attached to this post and to the event on the pack calendar.
